He is agitated during the day which translates to inability to fall asleep at night. Patient has been on haloperidol 4 mg tid for 6 months now. Patient positive, negative and cognitive symptoms are sufficiently addressed by his current therapy however he’s been having trouble tolerating the drug’s side effects thus his physician switches him to risperidone.
